How to find a leak in the roof, Roof Leak repair near me, Water damage restoration, Water damage intrusion

Roof leaks can occur on any size and type of roof, causing major water damage intrusion, possible mold growth, corrosion of fasteners, and possible property structure issues.
Wind damage, broken branches falling, leaves clogging drains, snow and ice melt, hail damage, embedded nails or screws in boots and shoes during inspections, are some of the unexpected events which can lead to water damage into your property.
Some of the areas where roof water leaks can occur are:
1) Shingles are worn or rolled down. Bitumen sheet is lifting up.
2) Roof boots around vent pipes are worn and brittle.
3) Flashing around chimneys, and windows, and dormers are prying off and not coated with roof cement.
4) Gutters can form ice dams, or even deteriorate facia and soffits, if too much weight.
5) Incorrect pitch of roof, to allow rain and snow to drain off.
A best practice is to inspect your commercial or residential roof at least 2 times a year, or even more after major weather events.
