This Clementon, NJ house was purchased as a flip property. There was mold damage in the basement that had to be removed before any renovations could begin. Our SERVPRO crew removed all of the walls then did a three stage process. Where we HEPA vacuum on all surfaces, followed by a SERVPRO cleaning solution and finished off with another HEPA vacuum.

This Sicklerville, NJ family’s pool busted in their yard, sending water and algae into their finished basement. This type of water is a category 3 water, which means all surfaces must be removed. All floors and carpets were removed and the walls cut up 2’ high. SERVPRO of Blackwood/Gloucester Township spent a couple of days there removing content and drying the area.

Hurricane Florence hit the east coast with its full force in September. The amount of damage caused surpassed what the local franchisees could handle, which is when Storm was activated. SERVPRO of Blackwood/Gloucester Township packed up trucks and equipment and sent a crew to North Carolina to assist the Storm Team in clean up.  Our crew was there a month doing work in Southport, Oak Island, Supply and Bolivia.

This is just one room of an apartment clean out that SERVPRO of Blackwood/Gloucester Twp. did in Clementon, NJ. The tenants were evicted and left a terrible mess for the property manager to deal with. Our SERVPRO team cleaned out the content and removed the rugs and kitchen floors. We were able to get this unit ready for the new tenant to move in. "Like it never even happened"

Black mold found in Erial, NJ basement. There was a pipe break that went unnoticed for a long time. The mold situation here was very bad, there were mushrooms growing out of the carpet. All content had to be removed as well as several walls.

We were contacted after our customer had a small fire in their basement. Fine soot was throughout the 95% finished basement. This picture is of the unfinished storage room were many soot webs formed and the insulation was exposed. In this case, it was necessary to remove and replace the insulation to eliminate the smoke smell.

A building fire, residential or commercial, is typically the most expensive type of damage to your property. The extensive cleaning required takes many man hours to complete. One of the steps in most fire cleaning damages is a duct cleaning. This picture is of a duct that is coated in soot.

Our customer contacted us after they had some damage to their home after a storm. Some shingles and flashing were damaged and created an entry for water into their home. This picture shows some of the containment used during the mold remediation process.

A commercial customer called us after a strong winter storm caused the roof of his showroom to blow off and leak. SERVPRO of Blackwood was there to help remove the falling ceiling, extract standing water and set up drying equipment.

This is a picture of a mold remediation project in a commercial building in Blackwood. The property manager contacted us after mold growth was discovered in a few rooms in the building. This picture shows the room under negative air.

This is an image of drywall with visable discoloration. Anytime drywall has mold growth, it needs to be removed as it provides a food source. Often times, improper drying after a water damage will lead to mold growth and more damage and cost.

Our homeowner called us after she heard water running and discovered a frozen pipe broke and flooded her basement. Luckily, she had just organized her basement, put everything in plastic totes and had everything on shelving units so no personal belongings were ruined and there was minimal other damage. 

We were contacted after the homeowner came home from work and discovered their above ground pool to have split open and flood their walk-out finished basement. This accident occurred in April and pool water was green from sitting all winter. 

Our customer called us in a panic on the morning of April 1 (no, it wasn't a joke) when he woke up and discovered the supply line to his toilet leaked. There was a considerable amount of water damage to the master bathroom, bedroom and the kitchen below. In this picture you can see water in one of the kitchen cabinets. 

This picture is after a sewer backup in a commercial building. Or crew was dispatched to extract the water and clean and deodorize the affected areas. We were able to complete the job in a few hours and the retail store never had to close.

Our customer called us after her boiler expansion tank leaked and flooded her fininshed basement. We were able to extract all standing water and properly dry her structure in 3 days. She was happy with our prompt service.

Our customer called us after her hot water heater leaked and flooded her finished basement. We acted quickly and were able to extract all standing water and dry the structure. The basement had a home theater in the basement and we were able to safe the contents

Our customer called us after a pipe froze and broke in their neighbors condo. The water leaked from the neighbors unit to our customers unit and cased damage to each room on the main level of their property. During extreme cold weather, we suggest protecting your pipes but turning off water to outside faucets, keeping the heat on in your property and keeping faucets on for water to trickle out to prevent water from standing still and possibly freezing.

This house in Collingswood was struck by lightning and caused a small fire starting on the back porch. There was soot and smoke odor in the home. Our crew cleaned and deodorized the entire property.

Our customer contacted us after a tree fell on her roof and caused damage to her kitchen and basement. We were able to clean up the debris, secure her house and have the structure dried out in less than a week. 

This picture is of the family room in a split level home in Woodbury that was on the market for sale. The crawlspace has a sump pump installed, but it was not functioning properly. The home suffered water damage and went undiscovered for quite some time. Water wicked up the drywall and into the insulation. The high moisture in the home and the water was a perfect environment for mold to grow. For this property, we had to remove the wood paneling, drywall walls, insulation and carpet that was covered in mold. We followed a professional protocol and cleaned all remaining wood structure and the floor and remediated the mold problem.

This pictures is of a bathroom wall in a home that recently had a puff back. A puff back is when the heating oil burner does not ignite properly and the oil fumes are able to buildup and then cause a small explosion when it ignites. Once this happens, soot and smoke can travel through the HVAC vents causing damage to multiple rooms. That was the case in this fire damage, and there was an oily soot film on the contents in every room in the house. In this picture, you can see black circles and lines on the drywall. These darker marks are caused by particle ionization. The metal nail heads holding the drywall to the studs are still magnitized and attract the ionized smoke particles to land in a ring around them. Acting quickly and having the walls and ceiling cleaned properly often reduces the need for paintwork.

A flooded basement is never fun when you are a homeowner! This senior homeowner called us, after a pipe broke in her finished basement. We quickly dispatched to her home and were able to extract the water and dry her structure.  

Our customer called us early Saturday Morning when he showed up to work and got his feet wet. One of the toilets was running all through the night and water had migrated to 4 different adjacent rooms. We responded quickly, extracted the water and was able to dry the structure so they could be open and fully functional Monday.  

A local retail store had a water damage in there storage room. They acted fast and called. We quickly responded and were able to extract the standing water and start drying out the structure and prevent any additional damage.

This picture is of a dining room after a fire damage in a Gloucester Township home. This was a small fire, but it produced smoke damage in every room. In this picture you can see the outline of where a wall hanging was and the nails and studs in the wall because of particle ionization.

This fire damage started on an outside front porch and burned the front rooms of this home in Collingswood. The plaster needed to be removed so the wood frame structure could be thoroughly cleaned and sealed before restoring the property.

We were contacted by the insurance company after a local resident had a house fire. The fire occurred just 3 days before Christmas. Luckily, everyone was able to get out, but there was excessive damage and soot on everything the homeowners owned. During our initial walk through, we asked if certain items needed extra care and this image is a momentum of the couple’s engagement that we were able to clean and return to them.

Our customer contacted us to clean out a local commercial property that was in foreclosure. The building was being used as an auto repair facility. The old owner walked away, leaving piles of old car parts, oil and tools. We completed this task on time and created a repeat customer.

Our customer called us to clean out their old retail store space. They had since moved to a new facility with all new equipment and needed the old space empty and cleaned out so they could return their keys to their landlord. This picture shows just a small portion of the custom wood racks that we had to disassemble.

Our customer called us after he had come home and had over 3 feet of water in his basement. In the picture, you can see the water line on the block wall. A recent storm dumped hundreds of gallons of water into this partly finished basement. Unfortunately for the homeowner, his sump pump was not working and caused extensive damage.

In November 2016, we moved into our new larger warehouse in Gloucester Township. We are excited to be in our new space that is double the size of our previous location. The additional size allows us room for more equipment, content cleaning and storing and indoor parking for our vans. This is important so that our vans can be prepped and waiting for emergency damages and allows us to be Faster to Any-Sized Disaster.

Our customer called us after he had a flood in his basement. He was out of town for an extended period of time and came home to over 3 feet of water in his basement. With the warm weather, there was high humidity in the house and there was visible growth in almost every room.

Got basement mold problems? Mold is not a problem for us. In this project, we had to remove affected building materials and clean all contents. Once the contents were cleaned, we moved them to a clean area in the basement and wrapped them in plastic and sealed them to the floor so no further contamination could occur.

This is our 16' Ford Box Truck. In the box part of the truck, we have a Cobalt truck mount extractor. We use this for extracting water and carpet cleaning. There is an 80 gallon waste water tank and a 150 fresh water tank. The machine is capable of heating the clean water for carpet cleaning and rinse extracting on hard surfaces. We also have space for all of our tools, debris and furniture when preforming a pack-out. 

This is a picture of our production team (L to R) Cyrus, Wayne and Jake, holding their SERVPRO Employee Training Certification Training certificates. We require each employee to take and pass this course. Additionally, Wayne and Cyrus are both certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) in water, fire and advanced drying courses. Wayne also holds a certification in mold remediation and carpet cleaning. 

We are a proud sponsor of a local Kiwanis little league team for the 2016 season. Kiwanis is an international club that was designed to strengthen communities and serve the children within the community. Adult residents volunteer their time to help plan and organize events and sports teams. We choose to sponsor a little league to help give back to our community and helping creating a safe, healthy and fun experience for our townships youth.  

Here is a picture of one of our technicians in full PPE (personal protection equipment) hepa-vacuuming a house during a mold remediation. Safety is main concern to us, not just for our employees but for our customers as well. Wearing proper safety equipment helps to maintain the health of our employees. When completing jobs, such as a mold remediation, it is important to properly install containment to section off the affected area and posting signs that alert people to know not to enter. We also use an air scrubber/ negative air machine to help with air quality in and around the affected area.
