Commercial Sewage Loss in Lindenwold, NJ.

SERVPRO of Blackwood/Gloucester Township was called to clean up a sewage loss at an office building in Lindenwold, NJ on a Monday morning. Over the weekend there was a sewage back up which affected 13 offices in the two story Lindenwold office complex. A sewage loss is considered a category three water loss, which means the water is contaminated. Category three water is known as "black water" and is grossly unsanitary. This water contains unsanitary agents, harmful bacteria and fungi, causing severe discomfort or sickness. Everything that has any water on it must be disposed of. After our crew extracted the water and removed the contaminated items, all of the walls were all cut 2’ high. Dehumidifiers and air movers were placed throughout the building. The dehumidifier reduces and regulates the humidity in the air. The air movers work like big fans to dry the affected areas. Sewage losses cause a foul odor in the air. Air scrubbers were used to pull this odor from the air. Finally, we used an “Air Shark” which releases a lemon fresh scent to the cleaned air. This job took a week to complete and our customers were satisfied and ready for the rebuild.
No one wants a sewage loss to happen, but if it does, SERVPRO of Blackwood/Gloucester Township is on call 24/7 to help clean it up. We will help get your business back to preloss condition as quickly as we can.
