Lindenwold Flooded Basement
We were contacted by the insurance company after our customer had water damage to his property. A pipe had frozen and broke in his wall and created damage to his first floor and flooded his basement. This was an older home with plaster walls, original hardwood floors, and unheated basement. We extracted all the standing water and had to use specialty drying equipment to dry the plaster walls and hardwood floors. The first picture shows the basement flooded when we arrived onsite. The second picture shows a desiccant dehumidifier. This is a special dehumidifier that is used in cooler temperature areas to dry. This type of dehumidifier worked great in this unheated space to quickly dry everything.
